Which is the best variant to learn basics of programming? I'm doing a blast into the past to try and resurrect what it exactly is that made creating a computer program easy and fun at the same time.
Was it the robustness of the responses you got to errors, was it the simplicity. And were the limited functionality and low power ever really an impediment to learning?
Downlaod a Sepctrum menulator and try it out, probably less painfull than getting a box on ebay and the finding it has no got a screen cable.
